Serving central Indiana since 1996, Robert Stevens Roofing, has a deep-rooted reputation of quality workmanship of protecting your largest investment, your home. Seeing a need for working with homeowners to improve their home, Robert D. Stevens, started Robert D. Stevens Roofing. He embarked on a mission of trustworthy excellence of tearing of roofs and replacing them with beautiful new roofs while helping homeowners protect the value of their home.
Fresh out of college, Robert got his start in the construction industry at a local lumberyard. To make some extra cash he began working for a roofer. In 1995 Robert realized great potential in the roofing business. Robert Stevens Roofing grew over the years, especially as an original service provider recommended by Angie’s List. Robert continued his success one roof, one homeowner at a time. His crews shared his passion and lead to the longevity we have today as a superior contractor.
About Us
Today, Rick Campbell owns Robert Stevens Roofing. Having worked for Robert since 2012, he became the owner in 2016 after working with homeowners and managing projects. Since he began working at Robert Stevens Roofing as a Project Manager he easily embraced being an owner. Professionally, prior to business ownership, Rick spent his career in professional auto racing. Starting out as a mechanic to a step-up series of NASCAR, he then became Lead Mechanic at Andretti Autosport in the Indy Car Series. On race days he was an over-the-wall fueler for elite drivers including, Dan Wheldon, Michael Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Raey, and Danica Patrick. Winning the Indy 500 as a pit stop crew member was the highlight of his Indy Car career. Bringing Rick’s mindset of precision, efficiency and determination are the cornerstones of what will bring Robert Stevens Roofing into the future.
When not helping homeowner’s improve their home, Rick can often be found on the ice rink with his son Dane and coaching youth players. Rick enjoys coaching youth and giving back as he grew up playing travel hockey in Colorado Springs. He maintains the highest level of coaching available to USA Hockey coaches. Rick and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Zionsville with their son Dane. Their oldest children Courtney, lives in Cleveland, OH where she is an operating nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and Drew, attends Iowa State for engineering. The entire Campbell family shares the passion for the roofing company!
