Serving Central Indiana since 1996, Robert Stevens Roofing has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship and protecting what matters most—your home. Founded by Robert D. Stevens, the company was created with a clear mission: to provide homeowners with trustworthy, high-quality roof replacements and repairs that enhance and protect their investment.
Robert’s journey in the roofing industry began shortly after college while working at a local lumberyard. Looking to earn extra income, he started working with a roofing crew and quickly recognized the opportunity and demand for reliable roofing services. By 1995, he saw the potential to build something of his own—and Robert Stevens Roofing was born.
Over the years, the company grew steadily through word-of-mouth referrals and a commitment to excellence. As one of the original recommended service providers on Angi (Angie’s List), Robert Stevens Roofing became a trusted name for homeowners throughout the Indianapolis area. Robert’s dedication to doing the job right—one roof, one homeowner at a time—helped establish the long-standing reputation the company continues to uphold today.
About Us
Today, Robert Stevens Roofing is proudly owned and operated by Rick Campbell, who has continued the company’s tradition of quality and integrity. Rick joined the company in 2012 as a Project Manager and became an owner in 2016, bringing a unique background and a high-performance mindset to the roofing industry.
Before entering the roofing business, Rick built a successful career in professional auto racing. He worked his way up from mechanic to a step-up series of NASCAR, and later became Lead Mechanic at Andretti Autosport in the IndyCar Series. On race days, Rick served as an over-the-wall fueler for elite drivers including Dan Wheldon, Michael Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, and Danica Patrick. A highlight of his racing career was being part of a winning pit crew at the Indianapolis 500.
Rick brings that same level of precision, efficiency, and attention to detail to every roofing project. Under his leadership, Robert Stevens Roofing continues to deliver dependable roof repairs, full roof replacements, and storm damage restoration services for homeowners across Indianapolis and Central Indiana.
Outside of work, Rick is deeply involved in the local community. He enjoys spending time at the ice rink with his son, Dane, and has coached youth hockey programs for many years. Rick and his wife, Cheryl, live in Indianapolis. Their daughter Courtney is a nurse based in Seattle, and their son Drew is a project manager for a home builder in North Carolina. Their youngest, Dane, is graduating high school this spring and will be heading off to college in the fall. As a family, they share a strong passion for construction, service, and helping homeowners improve and protect their homes.
